Wedding Cake – an integral part of any wedding feast. To date, the wedding cake is not just a sweet dessert, but also the product of the culinary arts, and that it should attend the wedding table is not an accident.

Even in ancient times, wedding cake was a symbol of abundance, and to it are related a lot of rituals, such as in ancient Rome – at the end of the wedding ceremony, the groom broke the wedding cake over the bride’s head, and the crumbs as a sign of good luck were collected by the guests.

In medieval England, guests brought cakes and put them in the center of the table, and the bride and groom had to kiss on top of this mountain pies, it went a tradition to make tiered wedding cakes.
